FAQs

  • Please provide 12 hours notice for cancelled appointments. Cancel can be made in booking app or during staffed hours by phone. If cancelation is made inside of 12 hours your service credit or session rate will be forfeited.

  • Absolutely!

    • Additional guests are $25 per person (if you're on a grandfathered membership you receive a discount when purchasing.)

    • Purchase your guest credits inside the booking app or HERE.

    • The room capacity are listed in the details of each service.

    • Please purchase you Guest Credit prior to arrival. Your guest can also add a guest pass if they register for a profile online. If you've decided to purchase the Guest Pass for your guest and it's their first visit, Please arrive 15 minutes early so they can set up a profile and fill out a waiver.

  • We allow one service per day.

  • Many studies indicate that you will maximize the benefits of sauna with 2 - 6 sessions per week. At Space BAR Wellness we believe that each person’s tolerance to sauna therapy is unique, and you should pay attention to your body. We recommend that you start out with 1 or 2 sessions a week and see how your body responds. We like to use the analogy of training for a half marathon - when training, you don’t run 13.1 miles everyday. Our bodies need time to recover. If you'd like specific recommendations reach out to our coaches via our Coaching App.

  • I’m under 18, am pregnant, have a pacemaker, or implants? Generally we would recommend against using the sauna in these cases. We strongly suggest you consult with your physician prior to booking your session. If you are feeling unwell, please do not come into the studio. Cancellation fees will be waved for those who have a medical reason to cancel their appointment.

  • Cleanliness and safety are one of our highest priorities. We allow a buffer between sessions to allow for sanitizing the room, providing fresh towels and ensuring the room is cleaned. The Cold Plunge filtration system is always running and we ensure the water is clean between sessions.

  • Before your contrast therapy or cold plunge session please rinse off prior to arriving. If you'd like to use our shower room please purchase Shower Credits HERE.

    Upon entering the lobby we ask for you to remove your shoes.

  • Although our suites are thoroughly sanitized before and after your session, we require you to wear a bathing suit or something you feel comfortable sweating in.

    When plunging please wear synthetic materials that most bathing suits are made of. Cotton may transfer detergent into the water cause foam and bubbles while also clogging the filter.

  • While you will lose water by sweating during your session, you will also burn real calories (p.s. don’t forget to drink lots of water before, during and after your session!). How do you burn calories? The sauna raises your heart rate and core body temperature by about 3 degrees, resulting in serious calorie burn.

    While you may burn some calories during your session we don't believe this is an adequate method for sustainable weight loss. If you'd like more specific help to achieve your weight loss goals please reach out to our trainers and coaches inside our Coaching App.

  • Chromotherapy is a color light therapy that has been used as a wellness treatment for over 2,000 years. Each color is associated with different healing properties, making it a great way to customize your sauna experience. At Space BAR Wellness, you will find medical grade chromotherapy in all of our Clearlight Sanctuary™ series saunas.

  • Members receive heavily discounted sauna services and complimentary access to workouts & nutrition plans inside the Space BAR Wellness Coaching App.

  • We recommend that you keep any pre-sauna meals light and hydrating. Also be sure to come to your session well hydrated.

  • Wipe yourself down with the provided towel and place used towels in the basket in your room. We recommend that you hydrate with electrolytes.
